  • All nominees must demonstrate exceptional business excellence and a strong commitment to the Chico community.

The New Business of the Year Award honors a standout Chico business that has been in operation for less than five years. The Community Service Award honors individuals who have made an extraordinary impact through their dedicated service over the past year. This award recognizes those whose efforts in a specific area of service have significantly improved the lives of others and contributed to the betterment of the Chico community.

The Small Business of the Year Award recognizes a recently established Chico business that demonstrates outstanding dedication to excellence and community impact. This award celebrates a business that exemplifies innovation, exceptional customer service, and alignment with the mission and values of the Chico Chamber. This award highlights their essential role in driving Chico’s economic growth and strengthening the local community.

The Non-Profit of the Year Award celebrates an organization that not only uplifts and strengthens the local community but also aligns with and advances the Chamber’s business advocacy agenda. It recognizes their dedication, impact, and partnership in fostering a thriving Chico.

The Business of the Year Award celebrates a Chico Chamber of Commerce member that sets the standard for outstanding customer service, demonstrates a significant positive impact on the community, achieves sustainable growth, and showcases innovation and creativity. It recognizes a true leader in Chico's business community and inspires others.
